**Can I list my restaurant on Peppar for free?**  
Yes. After you create an account you can request guest-interface / listing activation. Peppar reviews the request and publishes the restaurant page when approved. Guests can then discover and browse the published restaurant.

**Does Peppar provide GST billing?**  
Yes. Peppar supports GST-compliant restaurant billing (CGST/SGST and related charges). Numbered tax invoicing and split-bill GST invoices are on plans that include GST Invoicing (typically Pro).

**Does Peppar charge transaction fees?**  
Peppar does not charge a SaaS transaction fee on the subscription. Payment-gateway charges from PayU, Razorpay, Cashfree, PhonePe, or Paytm (when used for guest checkout) or Razorpay (plan checkout) may still apply.

**Do I need a credit card to start?**  
No. Restaurants can self-register and digitize on the free plan without a credit card. A card (or other Razorpay method) is used when you subscribe to a paid plan.

Yes. Restaurant owners sign up at https://partners.peppar.in/signin and complete onboarding themselves.

**How does restaurant listing approval work?**  
The restaurant requests guest listing / website publish. Platform admin reviews the request (and may reject it) and publishes the customer-facing page. Until publish, the listing is not shown to guests as a live restaurant.

**Can customers discover restaurants on Peppar?**  
Yes. Once Peppar publishes the restaurant, guests can find it on Peppar and open its digital profile and menu in the browser.

**Does the customer need to install an app?**  
No. Guests use a mobile browser: scan a QR code or open the restaurant URL. Staff may use the optional Android Merchant App for Bluetooth KOT printing.

**What is the difference between Free and Starter?**  
Free is ₹0/month for digital presence: account, menu management, AI menu import, QR browse menu, and listing after Peppar publishes. Starter is ₹599/month excluding GST and adds paid operations such as guest ordering and POS/kitchen features listed on that plan card. **Is Peppar Free just a 30-day trial?**
